PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL

(PCC)

WHAT IS THE PCC?
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is responsible for supporting the clergy in the running and management of the parish. Its primary function is to promote the mission of the Church in the parish.

PCCs are charities and so PCC members are also charity trustees. They therefore have to accept ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of their PCC, ensuring that it is financially solvent and well-run, and delivering its charitable objectives.

Our PCC consists of a church warden, our chair, treasurer, secretary and other members, all re-elected at our annual APCM. Our administrator also attend our meetings. There are financial and buildings sub-committees meet bi-monthly, or as the need arises.
